GRAND PALAIS 2009

Andreas Guhr presented a unique selection of his exceptional finds at the 4th collectors fair in the Grand Palais in Paris, the so called "Salon du Collectionneur", which met with great acceptance again. The president of the Syndicat National des Antiquaires (SNA), Hervé Aaron, was at this occasion the first to stimulate the former Salon and to establish it even as collectors fair. He decided to integrate even dinosaur skeletons, as the unique plesiosaur.

Focus was on interior design, functional design and antiques. Guhr pointed out, that his exhibits fully meet the wide range of demands and value concepts of architects and interieur designers. The natural objects are ideal as art installion or as additional element in architecture. The high quality of the very special and rare pieces and the uniqueness of each single object from nature make them suitable to place them in the upper lifestyle segment. Their distinctive character emphasizes the individuality of the architecture concerned and show clearly the harmonious and sustainable interplay between "created" and "long developed" arts.
